FRL UNITS

FRL units, also known as Filter-Regulator-Lubricator units, are essential components in pneumatic systems used to control and optimize the performance of air-operated machinery and equipment. FRL units combine three main functions into a single assembly: filtering, regulating, and lubricating compressed air.

The filtering function removes contaminants, such as dust, dirt, and moisture, from the compressed air before it reaches the pneumatic components. This helps prevent damage, wear, and clogging of valves, cylinders, and other sensitive parts.

The regulating function controls the air pressure delivered to the pneumatic system. It allows operators to set and maintain the desired pressure level, ensuring consistent and reliable operation of the equipment.

The lubricating function adds a fine mist of oil into the compressed air stream, which lubricates the moving parts within the pneumatic system. This helps reduce friction, wear, and corrosion, prolonging the lifespan of the components and improving overall efficiency.
